DUOCOOLING
DuoCooling technology uses two completely separate refrigeration circuits to prevent air from being exchanged between the fridge and freezer compartments. This protects food in the refrigerator compartment from dry air from the freezer compartment. Also, odours do not mingle and the foods retain their own aroma. There is no air exchange between the fridge and freezer compartments, odour transfer is prevented and stored food does not dry out.
BIOFRESH
Keeping your food fresh in a Liebherr is easy. BioFresh guarantees the perfect climate for super-long-term freshness. Through its advanced technology the temperature is kept at just above freezing. Each drawer can be used individually and provides ideal humidity – HydroSafes with high humidity or DrySafes with low humidity – for a versatile storage solution of meats and cheeses as well as fruits and vegetables.
SUPERCOOL
The SuperCool function reduces the temperature of the refrigerator to +36° F (+2° C) and holds it there for up to 12 hours. This is ideal for chilling fresh food quickly to seal in flavors and textures. A single push of a button activates the SuperCool feature to instantly preserve optimum freshness and extend food storage.
SUPERFROST
The SuperFrost function makes freezing simple by quickly reducing the temperature in the freezer compartment to as low as -25° F (-32° C) so you can freeze fresh food quickly and carefully to preserve vitamin and mineral content in the process. With the automatic SuperFrost function, food can be frozen at its highest quality to best preserve the vitamins, taste and appearance. After the SuperFrost function is completed, the appliance automatically switches back to its standard mode.
SOFTSYSTEM HINGES
When you talk to our engineers about the ideal degree for a refrigerator, they may reply by saying, “Temperature, or door angle?” They’ve invested a great deal of effort in developing our SoftSystem hinge, ensuring the doors of select Liebherr models always close gently. At 30° in built-ins and selected European fully integrated models, SoftSystem takes over for you and closes the door without slamming, even when the interior is fully loaded.
GLASSLINE
The elegant yet tough GlassLine shelves are scratch resistant and easy to clean as well as dishwasher safe. The space-saving shelves are designed for organization and are completely adjustable to suit your needs and the contents of the refrigerator; additionally the lighting shines through for a brighter interior.
ICEMAKER
The automatic IceMaker produces perfect halfmoon crescent ice cubes and keeps a constant supply on hand for every occasion. An activated carbon filter ensures that pure water is used for the production of clear ice.
